About Our Company

It all started in Barranquilla Colombia, the summer of 2015. I met Rosmery, who is my wife today. We   started a long distance relationship. In our conversations, we started making plans for me to go to Colombia. For me, it was extremely important what kind of water I was going to be drinking, so I asked her to start looking for my kind of water in her town: (Barranquilla). For my surprise, she couldn’t find it anywhere. After talking directly with store managers, business owners, and getting the same answer over and over, I started doing some research. After a few months, I discovered the reality of the water & plastic pollution in Colombia. It was heartbreaking. I started digging furthermore. Getting the same answers. I wanted to do something about it to help the people. At first , I considered exporting the water there, but after a lot more research the numbers didn’t make sense, it was not cost effective. Time went by and It was time for me to go visit Colombia and meet Rosmery, her family, and also, take a look at the city.   

I made the trip and thanks God I did. Everything I was told, and all my research was wrong. Rosmery, her family and the city friendly business policies that were in place, all of it, was ten times better. Unfortunately, not the problems with the water and the plastic pollution. At that point I saw the potential for the business, and came up with the conclusion that moving the operation to Colombia was the best option, so, I did. Hydrologik S.A.S was born. The people love it, and for us, it is more than a business it is our mission. 

I was exposed to the reality of the water contamination problem in Puerto Rico 33 years ago. At the time, I just had my first born so pretty much because of him I had a whole house water system installed in my home. I liked it so much that I became a salesman for the company. Unfortunately, the water contamination problems haven’t got any better. Actually, it got worse.

I came to Texas to visit my mom after a minor stroke. For my surprise, I discovered that the water and plastic pollution problem its even worst here in USA, than in Colombia. My friend, this is a very serious matter. Weather you want to acknowledge it or closed your eyes to the reality of it, our planet, marine life, and our health are paying the consecuesses. This is a worldwide epidemic, and require everyone’s  grain of sand.
